I just stared at the gearogs home page for about 5 minutes trying to figure out where the list of items for sale is.
Maybe I'm missing the obvious, but...is there no link to the actual marketplace on the gearogs home page? If not, may I suggest that get added? Seems like a major omission.
If you click your user name in the upper right, the link to the marketplace shows in the drop down menu: https://shop.gearogs.com/
No doubt once it moves beyond beta it'll be given more prominence.
Thanks folks. There are a lot of developments we can and will be making to all aspects of this site, and especially the marketplace. Thanks for your feedback!
Well, unlike what happened with records, I think that the only way to build a large database is making the markeplace working [you have something you want to sell? well, add it to the database and then after you can put it on sale].
From what I've seen now, the 'shop', as it is now, in the beta stage, is quite unuseful: you only get a list of the items currently for sale shown 50 per page and without any possibility of selecting what would interest you.
This shop could become what the records shop is, so focus mainly on this, because I've plenty of gear I'm looking for!
Thanks for your feedback fitzstudio!
The marketplace is indeed in early beta. We are constantly working on improvements, and for sure listing visibility and usability is an important part of that!

Another way to do it is to browse the gear database https://www.gearogs.com/browse/gear and add items you want to your wantlist. Then we plan to notify you of when something comes up for sale.
