Are you sure? As far as I understand, these turntables are made by Hanpin, which is a Taiwanese manufacturer with branches in China, Hong-Kong and Singapore.

My silver version of the AT-LP120-USB has a sticker on the back that says "Made in China". I would think that the same applies for the black version?

Yes, definitely. This product is not made in Japan, as far as I'm aware of.

Same name/number but the colour of the pictured turntables differ. Are these the same model or are they different (like the technics 1200/1210)?
