Also known by some as "the poor man's SL-1200". The SL-1800mk2 contains the exact same tonearm, platter and fully manual quartz lock direct drive guts of the SL-1200mk2 but has a different control layout, suspension system and pitch adjustment that only does +/- 6%. The suspension system makes them unsuitable for turntablism but they are excellent for beat mixing or as a hi-fi turntable.
